Girvan Dental is predominantly an NHS practice providing cosmetic and private treatment where necessary and where not available on the NHS.
The practice is an approved training practice by NES – NHS Education for Scotland
We have a modern, state of the art, local decontamination unit so that our patients can be confident about our sterilization procedures.
We are currently accepting new NHS patients to the practice. To be registered, patients should make an appointment with one of our dentists for an oral health examination.
The dentist may require to take X-rays and will discuss any required treatment.
To remain registered with the practice, patients are reminded to attend for a regular check-up, otherwise there is the risk of being de-registered to accommodate new patients.
Good oral health in childhood means healthy teeth and gums throughout life. As a Childsmile practice, we are working to ensure that children, regardless of income or background, have the best possible start.
We welcome young patients to visit our registered Childsmile nurse. By encouraging dental care from an early age we believe that this is the best way of introducing dentistry to children.
